Governance Structure
The administration of the Firm is in the hands of an Executive Committee elected by partners from all its offices.
The Executive Committee is composed of partners with diverse practice areas, gender, and seniority, including those who have joined the Firm laterally and bring an external viewpoint.
Additionally, the Advisory Board, comprising of senior members of the Firm, is a body mandated with independently advising and guiding the Firm’s Managing Partner and the Executive Committee, on important policy issues that are brought to its consideration.

Lalit Vij
Chief Operating Officer
Lalit Vij, Chief Operating Officer, handles the firm’s internal affairs. He works closely with Mr. Luthra and the firm’s Executive Committee and Sub-Committees for designing and overseeing implementation of the firm’s operating strategies and works closely with the human resources to build the firm’s policies and people practices.
Lalit is a highly focused, persuasive and multi-faceted executive with proven track record in delivering business results in demanding environments using experience backed judgement, strong work ethics and impeccable integrity. Lalit has over three decades of experience in building teams and organizations to deliver strategic mandates across service sector industry. Lalit is a Luthra alumni and amongst the very first hires of Mr. Luthra. He moved on from the firm in 1996 and worked with large corporates including American Express, Exl Service and Principal Financial Group before returning to Luthra and Luthra in 2021.

Sanjeev Sachdeva
Partner & Mentor
Sanjeev Sachdeva is a Partner & Mentor and an integral part of the Firm’s Senior Leadership Team. He has played a pivotal role in setting the Firm’s Taxation practice
Sanjeev has been associated with Luthra and Luthra Law Offices of India for over a decade. Sanjeev has also assisted clients in arbitration proceedings at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), as well as, at the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
He was awarded the Presidential Certificate of Appreciation for Distinguished Service on the occasion of Republic Day in 1999. He also headed the operations of Trinity College London in South & SE Asia and the Middle East.
