His practice covers fund formation, cross-border M&A and private equity, banking and finance, restructuring and insolvency, and corporate advisory. He structures and registers alternative investment funds under the SEBI regime and in GIFT City, advising sponsors, managers and institutional investors across the life of the fund. On the transactional side he acts for Indian and international clients on acquisitions, joint ventures, market entry, franchising, external commercial borrowings and exchange control, and on the restructurings and insolvency with special emphasis on avoidance transactions and claw-backs. International law firms regularly instruct him as Indian counsel on cross-border matters, including arbitrations / disputes seated abroad.
