Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India is a pioneer in commercial legal advice, built on a close understanding of clients’ businesses across sectors and jurisdictions, and is known for identifying and managing risk for clients.

Our 55 partners and over 300 members across New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai work directly with clients on their legal challenges.

The TMT practice is a multi-disciplinary group with deep sector experience across telecom, broadcasting and entertainment, fintech, data protection and privacy, and emerging technologies such as crypto and virtual currency, blockchain, OTT platforms, e-commerce, online gaming, IoT, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, health tech, AR/VR, digital maps, drones and robotics. We give regulatory and transactional advice to some of the largest telecom, software and technology players in India and abroad, working with the firm’s other core practices.

Because technology law in India is still developing, the team is active in policy: it submits recommendations on consultation papers and draft bills to the regulator and to policy bodies, and has worked on newer areas such as online gaming and IoT.
