The Rajiv K. Luthra Foundation recently marked an important milestone in advancing inclusive legal education with the inauguration of the ‘Rajiv K. Luthra – NLUJ Accessibility Lab’ at National Law University, Jodhpur, in association with the Centre for Disability Studies and Empowerment (CDSE).
In a meaningful and symbolic moment, the Accessibility Lab was inaugurated by PWD students – reflecting the shared vision of accessibility, inclusion, and equal opportunity in legal education.
The event was attended by Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Vice Chancellor, NLU Jodhpur; Dr. Sunita Pankaj, Registrar, NLU Jodhpur; Ms. Gayatri K. Luthra; Mr. Abhishek Mathur, Partner at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India; and Mr. Ananya Gaur, Chief Operating Officer, Rajiv K. Luthra Foundation.
Established with the support of the Foundation, the state-of-the-art Accessibility Lab is equipped with assistive technologies and accessible learning resources aimed at empowering students with disabilities and strengthening NLUJ’s commitment towards an equitable academic environment.
As part of the engagement, Mr. Abhishek Mathur and Mr. Ananya Gaur also addressed first and second year law students on the theme “Career, Growth and Opportunities for Law Students”, sharing insights on professional development and emerging opportunities in the legal sector.
The initiative reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment towards promoting accessibility, education, and meaningful institutional partnerships.
