Mr Chawla has been recognized as one of the country’s exceptional leaderships that challenges norms and pushes boundaries to create a meaningful socio-economic impact.

Hon'ble Chief Justice of India, Shri DY Chandrachud laid the foundation stone for the Rajiv K Luthra Academic Wing at the National Law School of India University in Bengaluru on September 22, 2024.

Present on the occasion were several distinguished guests and dignitaries including Hon'ble Attorney General of India Shri R. Venkataramani, Chairman of Bar Council of India Manan Mishra, Chief Trustee of Rajiv K Luthra Foundation Mrs. Gayatri Luthra, Managing Partner Mr. Harry Chawla, and Mr. Amit Luthra, Managing Partner of Luthra and Luthra Chartered Accountants.

National Law School of India University has been India's top ranked institution for legal education since the last two decades and the Rajiv K Luthra Foundation's grant will be used to redevelop the Academic Wing by redesigning existing, and building new, classrooms and seminar rooms. The foundation has also instituted two annual gold medals in the memory of Late. Rajiv K Luthra - to be awarded to meritorious students. Further, the grant will be used to organise an annual lecture series in honour of Rajiv K. Luthra for a period of five years.

Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India advised Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited in connection with financial assistance availed by 5 SPVs of the ACME Group from Lender aggregating up to INR 12940.39 million for the purpose of refinancing of 5 solar renewable energy power projects having an aggregate capacity of 173 MW in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Deal advisory Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India advised and acted for Power Finance Corporation Ltd. (PFC) in connection with financial assistance aggregating up to INR 6330 Million sanctioned to Gensol Engineering Limited for financing acquisition of 5000 passenger EVs (electric four-wheeler cars) and 1000 cargo EVs (electric three-wheeler vehicles).

The passenger EVs will be operated by BluSmart Mobility on its ride hailing platform in and around Delhi NCR region, and the cargo EVs will be leased for last mile logistics/urban delivery.
